Sunday Stills - Rule of Thirds

This week's Sunday Stills Challenge - the Rule of Thirds. The explanation:
As any good photographer can tell you the subject, unless macro should be in the top or bottom third of your viewfinder or the right or left third. so this weeks challenge is to use the rule of thirds. Any subject will do, just make sure it is either in the top or bottom or left or right of the picture.

A mare turned out in a friend's pasture for the first time.
She was watching other horses over the fence.

Just before sunset on Friday

Just after the sun fell below the horizon on Friday

The neighboring farm's driveway on a foggy morning.
Since there was so much mist at ground level, I converted to black and white.

One of my favorite pics - Jet grazing in the pasture

The horse lined up with the trees at an angle is perfect. He takes your eye right down the line out of sight. Great job.

Lovely shots and she is a beauty! Love the shot of the windmill. You got the rule of thirds!

Great job on the first- the open space when using thirds makes you wonder what the horse is looking at.

The first photo of the horse is just beautiful, his colour against the trees makes it so outstanding. You got the rule of the thirds to the T.
