Macro Monday - End of the Season

The property boarding our pasture is a turf farm that has become very overgrown. The wildflowers and weeds have taken over and are now past their prime. The thistle and the milkweed really stuck out.

Interesting photos. I think that the thistle flowers are pretty when first blooming, but they also look unusual and beautiful dried, too. Or maybe that's just the way your wonderful photography makes them look? :)

Very nice. I like it when the little white puff come out of the milkweeds, it looks like it is snowing. :)
