It's a very long walk from the hay feeders to the barn. The distance isn't huge but it's all uphill. T hitched a ride on a blanketed Jet and I handed off Zip so she could bring them both up. That's me in the red jacket bringing up the rear. We haven't ridden Zip bareback yet and, while I don't *think* he would misbehave, I didn't want to take a chance riding him in the pasture. It's really wonderful having 2 horses that are so well trained.

The trailing horse certainly does look well-behaved.
:) You look like the hill is a cardio-workout and a half... I hope the leaves weren't slippery.
T is one talented, confident rider. And Zip looks like he's comfortable being ponied off of Jet. Jet is one terrific horse. Nice to see you in a photo, too.

Thanks!
That hill is a major workout! Not slippery but I'm always huffing and puffing by the time I get to the top.
Both horses can be used for ponying. It's one of the cool things about the ranch geldings. It's nice to know that we can do that if we ever get in a jam on the trail.
