Waiting for the Judge
I was going through my photo archives and updating pics on my Photoreflect site and found a picture that I always meant to go back to and play around with. There's something about it that always struck me. This is my friend's daughter in a Western Pleasure class at a show in May of 2009, waiting for the judge to announce the placings.

Very nice, how did she do?
Hard to see their expressions - both the rider's and the horse's... but they have the same "expectant" pose as if waiting confidently.
This was one of the first shows that this horse and rider team did together after months of hard work with the trainer. They did great and placed in the ribbons.
I like the pop of blue. Very nice.
