Our pasture has a good size pond that is teeming with life - frogs, turtles, fish, dragonflies and damselflies. I spent about an hour in the late afternoon stalking dragonflies. It was difficult to get really good shots of them since they were flitting around, hunting bugs. The late afternoon light made their wings glow.

Very nice shots. One of Ed's favorite subjects. :)
Excellent shots, they are a pain in the butt to photograph but worth the patience..:-))
ou are right Dragonflies and the like are very hard to photograph. I try though and yours are extremely beautiful.

I love the background of the first 3 shots. great job on catching them!
I can see where photographing those guys would be tough!
Love that last shot!
Well done, I know it takes much patience and a fair bit of luck to capture them :)
