It certainly doesn't feel like spring most days but don't tell Rooster. This is one swipe down his back. It's coming off in sheets. Every time I groom him it looks like we have left a dog on the ground.
I have to tell you, that is one of the nice things about having the Friesians in AZ - they don't tend to grow a winter coat, and the little that they do comes off in just about one handful.
