Thank heavens for horse-savvy neighbors!

Jet had his canvas blanket on yesterday and I left it on since it was raining in the morning. We headed off to Amish country (about an hour away). Somehow Jet managed to get down in the mud and get himself cast. I'm not sure if the blanket got bogged down in the mud, he just got himself in an awkward position or he got stuck by a tree. The barn owner's neighbor, who hauls for Brookledge Transport, just happened to be home and was able to go out there and spin him around enough for Jet to get himself up. Thank heavens for Leon next door!! This guy is great and we couldn't thank him enough. Jet would have been down for 2-3 hours if he hadn't helped. Just goes to show you how things can happen in the blink of an eye...
